Architect Mihai Dobre's challenge was to integrate the existing buildings into a unitary concept by modifying the finishes and textures on the facades. Also, the re-compartmentalization of the spaces and the chromatic homogenization of the whole ensemble facilitated the achievement of a coherent composition.
The existing buildings' roofs were made of wood and the new concept generated the need to reinforce them with metal structure. For this intervention, specialists in the design of such structures were called in and a hybrid structure was configured specifically for this location.
As the terrace was closed with vertically sliding glass systems, the decorative panels applied on the exterior were made of riffles to facilitate the cleaning of the glass.
