The project for a modern house in minimalist style is obviously distinguished by its sober and refined aesthetics, by the fact that we make intensive use of black color. In this case, it's not necessarily just a color choice, but a tool to define volumes. In this idea, we can see how the matte black of the first floor expresses the idea of a graphic panel floating above the ground floor. This approach gives the whole structure a sculptural character.
Because we wanted to counterbalance the rigor of the sober tones, we integrated organic textures in the entry areas and cladding. The integrated wood accents have the role and the ability to bring that visual sense of warmth, balancing the massiveness that the black gives. What we really want is to offer modern homes that are both spectacular and warm.
For this modern, minimalist, one-story house project, we propose versatile, state-of-the-art joinery. In practical terms, windows can be seen as mere gaps in the wall, dematerializing the barriers between inside and outside. The fact that the structure is designed with large panes of glass joined at 90 degrees, without massive intermediate uprights, gives full panoramic views without visual interruptions. This is an important technical detail, as it allows the living room to extend into the garden.
Looking at the renderings of this project, it looks like a terrace roof, but we have chosen a solution that is much more durable and efficient than the flat roof, proposing a masked mansard roof with a discreet 8 degree slope. The roof structure is completely concealed behind a high attic screen to keep the minimalist lines clean. This option offers practical advantages such as rapid storm water drainage and long-term weather resistance.
The unity of minimalist contemporary house design is ensured by holistic coherence. In other words, this project has an integrated approach and its balance comes precisely from this conceptual symbiosis. The facade of the house is characterized by clear lines, which are also reflected in the way we thought about the interior spaces. In addition to providing visual ventilation, the glass balustrades maintain impeccable stylistic consistency.
Summing up, we emphasize that this minimalist contemporary one-storey house project does not convey opulence through ornamentation, but a luxury of space, of light that penetrates unhindered and of high-quality materials. In practical terms, this project shows how the limited color palette (black, wood accents, white) and the mathematically precise use of materials can create a house with a strong emotional charge.
